Helping individuals and families protect, grow, and simplify their wealth with personalized strategies designed for real world uncertainty.
Founded in 2017, Incline Investment Advisors is an independent fiduciary that grew out of demand for a more sophisticated approach to investing than passive buy and hold strategies could offer. After four decades of falling interest rates and favorable markets, investors are now facing greater uncertainty and volatility.
At Incline, we design plans equipped to navigate market extremes with discipline and resilience to help protect and position your portfolio for success whether the next cycle brings calm or chaos.
Schedule a consultation with our team to discuss your goals, risk tolerance, and current portfolio. We’ll work closely with you to build a customized solution that fits your needs.
Ted Parkhill founded Incline Investment Advisors to bring an institutional approach to managing family wealth. With more than 30 years of experience in asset management, he helps clients navigate markets with discipline and a clear understanding of risk.
Ted began his career in the mutual fund industry before moving into alternatives, working alongside pioneers in systematic trading, convertible arbitrage, and global macro strategies. These experiences shaped his conviction that most portfolios are dangerously overexposed to traditional market cycles. At Incline, he helps clients take a more thoughtful path.
In addition to his work at IIA, Ted is also a founding partner of Incline Investment Management, a global macro hedge fund, where he is co-PM of The Tahoe Fund, LP. He holds an MBA from Cornell University and a B.A. in economics from the University of Manitoba. He also earned the CFP designation earlier in his career.
After fifteen years living in Incline Village where the firm was founded, Ted moved back to Boca Raton, Florida, to be closer to his three adult children, two of whom work in finance in New York City, while the third practices optometry in Florida. Outside of the office, he enjoys tennis, sailing and playing hockey.
Todd helps clients build and manage portfolios that are disciplined, risk-aware, and grounded in data, not emotion. As Chief Investment Officer of Incline Investment Advisors, he leads the firm’s investment strategy, portfolio construction, and ongoing management for client accounts.
Todd brings over two decades of experience across Wall Street, independent advisory firms, and private investment funds. After starting his career at Salomon Smith Barney in New York and San Francisco, he went on to serve as CIO at multiple RIAs and founded his own investment firm. Early in his career, he was mentored by legendary trader Ed Seykota, whose systematic rules-based approach continues to shape Todd’s investment philosophy.
At Incline, Todd applies that same philosophy, combining technical analysis, trend-following signals, and real-world risk controls to help clients grow and protect wealth through changing market environments. He also serves as co-portfolio manager for The Tahoe Fund, LP, the firm’s flagship alternative strategy.
A Chartered Market Technician (CMT), Todd earned his B.A. from the University of Virginia, where he attended on a swimming scholarship. He lives in Mill Valley, California, with his wife and two children. Outside of work, Todd is an avid sailor and lifelong swimmer.
